Queen Victoria and Prince Albert are well known for being one of the most romantic couples in the history of the British monarchy. So when the editors of visit1862 discovered that the anniversary of their wedding (10th February 1840) falls in the same week as St Valentine’s Day (14th February), this was too good an opportunity to miss. Inspired by the couple and their LOVE for each other, we hope that you enjoy our week of 1862 related romantic posts.
